John Steven is one of Scotland's leading equine photographers covering both junior and senior B.S.J.A. Show Jumping, as well as unaffiliated events at Rowallan Activity Centre, Ingliston House Equestrian Centre, and Gleneagles M.P.E.C.

    He also attends the Royal Highland, and Champions Of Scotland shows at Ingliston, as well as many of the locals including Dalry, Stewarton, Campsie, and Drymen.

He is the official photographer for the Scottish Junior Show Jumping Sponsors, and the Scottish Pre-Wembley Show.

John also covers Point-to-Point racing in the Northern Area from Fife to Northumberland and Cumberland, and is the official race day photographer for both the Border and Morpeth Hunt meetings.

His show jumping and point-to-point reports and photographs are a regular feature in top equine magazine The Scottish Equestrian, while his photographs regularly accompany his own show jumping reports and those of Mark McGowan and Susan McKie, in The Scottish Farmer's, Scottish Horse section, and the Horse And Hound.
